Joe Trausch
USPTR Certified Pro

Joe got hooked on tennis in Ohio at age and has been playing ever since. He played for his high school team and played D1 college tennis at URI and D3 tennis at RPI where he graduated with a BS in Biomedical Engineering. After completing a 38-year career in software engineering at Electric Boat and Cox Automotive, Joe retired and got certified for tennis instruction to better share his love for the game with others. Joe enjoys individual and small group training where the focus can be tailored to what that player is interested in improving. Whether your goal is general game improvement, performing better in competition, or learning specific skills/tactics he is happy to share his knowledge and help you improve.

Joe still successfully competes in regional and national age group competitions and has represented CT in the Thurston Cup and New England in the Donoff Cup competitions in recent years.  Joe has been a member/shareholder at OSRC since 1986. Joe has lived in Old Lyme since 1995 with his wife Grace and daughters Alexandra and Meghan all of whom play tennis at OSRC.
